The words that were supposedly spoken by Confucius ring to mind (read to find).
There are so many things in life I don’t understand and most likely will never come to comprehend.
So I started a list of those things, and here’s 10 more I like to share with you:
- Why people do not wear socks or do wear shorts on (very) cold November days – do you want to freeze body parts off? Is that it?
- Hormones – I just… I mean: where do they come from? What do they look like? What do they wannnnnt? I feel possessed by aliens sometimes…
- Men who persist on standing on top of a hot air balloon at nearly 4,000 meters – Why? That’s all I got: why??
- In fact, most World record – What is wrong with us as a species that we keep track of, for instance, how many bras someone can open in a minute? 🤷♀️
- Extortion – Again: why? Does your life actually get better when you make someone else’s worse? Really? I think you need to think again.

- Skin-coloured jeans/pants – if I’d gotten five cents for every time I did an involuntary double-check to see if someone was really riding their bicycle butt-naked, I’d be rich. Just saying. Stop wearing them! Or wait, no! Do wear pants, just not in your skin tone, please.
- What the button “Alt Gr” does – Does anyone know? Will something explode if I press it? (*pushes the button* 🔥🔥)
- Headwind – How come the wind is always blowing right in my face, seemingly regardless of the direction I’m going to or coming from?
- Gay marriage – Why do we call it that? Isn’t it just marriage? Aren’t the pros and cons that come with it the exact same as the pros and cons for “regular” marriage? Why the addendum if it’s the same?
- Transgenders – On the same note as the marriage one, really. Why is a woman who was born a man yet has transitioned into the woman she’s always felt she was, not just a woman? What’s up with the addendums?
I side with Confucius here. We insist on making life more difficult than it needs be, for sure!
Sorry if I kicked some shins with my non-traditional looks on things. That’s not the point of this post and I hope you’ll forgive me – just know I won’t miss a second’s sleep if you don’t. My opinions matter to me 😊 They make me me and I like me!
I just don’t get so many things, one of them hatred and dismissal of that what you don’t comprehend.
Ooh, that one’s not on my list yet! Better add it for next time.
